Always-on Satisfactory factory - no host PC required, co-op from any time zone
About This Game
Satisfactory dedicated server setup on Linux uses SteamCMD. Here is the standard process.
Satisfactory Server Hosting in the UK from Glitch Servers provides low-latency UK game server infrastructure with always-on DDoS protection - backed by AMD Ryzen hardware, NVMe Gen4 storage, and UK-native routing through AS212868. Satisfactory's dedicated server lets your factory run 24/7 without any player needing to act as host. This is essential for co-op playthroughs where players are in different time zones or online at different times - the factory automation continues progressing even when everyone is offline. Our UK hosting provides the NVMe storage that Satisfactory's large save files benefit from (factory worlds can reach several hundred MB), and the always-on connectivity that makes a dedicated server worthwhile over the peer-to-peer alternative.
Game server performance at Glitch runs on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processors - the high single-core clock speeds that game server software depends on for physics calculations, entity management, and script execution. NVMe Gen4 storage eliminates the map-load pauses and save-cycle stutters that affect game servers on spinning-disk or SATA SSD storage.
Network routing through AS212868 with direct LINX and LONAP peering keeps British players on UK-native ISP paths, avoiding the 30–60ms additional latency that routing via Frankfurt or Amsterdam adds for players connecting from UK residential broadband. Corero Smartwall DDoS mitigation is always on - game servers are frequent targets for volumetric attacks, and scrubbing runs at the network edge without adding processing latency to legitimate player traffic.
All plans include full root or admin access for custom configuration, mod installation, and plugin management. No port restrictions. Full game server plan details are on the game server hosting page.
Why Glitch Servers
Game servers demand high single-core clock speeds, fast storage for map loading, and DDoS protection as standard - not an upsell.
Recommended: 4 vCPU + 6GB RAM; 8GB RAM for large late-game factories

Getting Started
Most servers are online within minutes of ordering.
Install SteamCMD and download the Satisfactory Dedicated Server (App ID 1690800): steamcmd +login anonymous +app_update 1690800 +quit. The server files are approximately 5GB.
Run the server once to generate configuration files: ./FactoryServer.sh. Navigate to FactoryGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/ and edit Game.ini to configure your server password and session settings.
Start the server with: ./FactoryServer.sh -multihome=0.0.0.0 -ServerQueryPort=15777 -BeaconPort=15000 -Port=7777. Clients connect via the in-game server manager at the server's IP address.
