Protected Bare Metal

Dedicated servers with DDoS protection included

A dedicated server usually ends up running the things that matter most: a big game community, a hosting platform of your own, a busy shop or a stack of client sites. That makes it a target, and one flood against one IP can take the whole box offline if the network in front of it cannot cope.

Every Glitch Servers dedicated server sits behind always-on volumetric mitigation on our transit, and Glitch Guard filtering is included on all of its IPs. Each address gets its own rules, its own graphs and its own under-attack mode, so an attack on one IP does not change how the others behave.

Each server comes with 5 IPv4 addresses and a routed /64, so you can split services across IPs and give each one the preset it needs: a game server on one, a WireGuard endpoint on another, web and mail on a third, with everything else closed at our edge.

Builds start at £49/mo with IPMI access and a 1Gbps port, and a 10Gbps burst port is available. Current builds are on the dedicated servers page, and the full filter list is on the Glitch Guard DDoS protection page.

What's Included

What every protected dedicated server gets

Included as standard on every build.

⚡

Always-on mitigation

Volumetric floods are absorbed on our transit around the clock, with no threshold to wait for and nothing to switch on.

🛡

Glitch Guard on every IP

All of your IPv4 addresses can be filtered, each with its own rules, at no extra cost.

🔒

Closed by default

Only the ports and services you enable reach the server. Everything else is dropped before it gets near your NIC.

🔧

Full control

IPMI for the hardware and the client area for filtering. Change a rule and it is live in seconds.

How It Works

How your server is protected

Two layers in front of the hardware, both included.

Volumetric layer

Multi-terabit, always on, inline on our transit

Glitch Guard

Per-IP filtering at our edge, SYN proxy and stateful connection tracking

Hardware

Intel Xeon builds, IPMI access, 5 IPv4 addresses and a routed /64

Attack traffic dropped before it reaches a protected dedicated server

Use Cases

Who runs protected bare metal

When a VPS is not enough and downtime costs real money.

1

Large game communities

FiveM, Rust and Minecraft networks with several servers on one box, each IP with its own game preset and its own attack alerts.

2

Hosting your own customers

Small hosts and resellers running their own panels get per-IP protection for each customer address, so one target does not drag the rest down.

3

Business sites and applications

Shops, booking systems and APIs that cannot afford an outage, with only the web and admin ports open to the internet.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Always-on volumetric mitigation and Glitch Guard per-IP filtering are both included with every dedicated server at no extra cost.
Yes. Glitch Guard can be applied to every IP on your server, and each one has its own rules, graphs and under-attack mode.
No. Attack traffic is filtered instead of your IP being blackholed, and you can follow the attack live on your graphs.
No noticeable latency. Mitigation runs inline on our transit and Glitch Guard filters at our own edge, so traffic is not detoured through a distant scrubbing centre.
Yes, through Glitch Guard remote protection. It is scoped per customer, so pricing is on enquiry. See remote DDoS protection.
