About This Feature

Intel Xeon Dedicated Servers UK

Intel Xeon Dedicated Servers UK from Glitch Servers provides bare-metal Intel Xeon server hardware with full root access, iDRAC out-of-band management, and 10Gbps burst port option through AS212868. Our dedicated server range covers Intel Xeon E3, E5, and E7 series processors in single and dual-socket configurations, providing options from entry-level single-core workloads up to high-core-count dual Xeon systems for CPU-intensive applications. All dedicated servers use DDR4 ECC RAM - error-correcting memory that detects and corrects single-bit memory errors automatically, essential for databases and virtualisation hosts where memory errors cause data corruption or VM instability. NVMe Gen4 SSD storage delivers fast I/O for database workloads and application servers. iDRAC out-of-band management is included on Xeon builds, enabling remote console access, power cycling, and OS reinstallation without an engineer visit. UK-native routing through AS212868 with LINX and LONAP peering keeps latency consistently low for UK-based users and systems connecting to your dedicated server. The 4-hour hardware replacement SLA covers failed components with no additional charge. No contracts, and servers are provisioned from our UK inventory within 4 hours for standard configurations.

External resources: LINX (London Internet Exchange) and RIPE NCC (European IP registry).

Use Cases

Who This Is For

This feature is particularly well suited to these workloads and teams.

1

Virtualisation Hosts

Dual Xeon E5 configurations with 20 to 36 cores and DDR4 ECC RAM are well suited to Proxmox VE and VMware ESXi hosts - run multiple VMs with hardware ECC memory protection on a dedicated physical machine.

2

Database Servers

MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB production databases on Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen hardware - DDR4 ECC protects database buffer pool integrity, and iDRAC enables OS-level recovery without downtime from hardware access delays.

3

Application & Web Servers

High-traffic PHP, Node.js, and Java application servers on dedicated Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen hardware - no CPU steal from shared hosting tenants, and the optional 10Gbps burst port handles traffic spikes without bandwidth throttling.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Our dedicated server range includes Intel Xeon E3 1240 V6 (quad-core), dual Intel Xeon E5 2640 V3 (20 cores combined), and dual Intel Xeon E5 2699 V3 (36 cores combined). Xeon E3 plans are suited to single-threaded workloads and small databases. E5 dual-socket configurations are suited to virtualisation hosts, multi-threaded applications, and larger databases. Contact our team for custom configurations or current availability.
Yes. iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) is included on Intel Xeon builds and provides out-of-band server management - remote console access via browser, power on/off/reset, virtual media for ISO mounting, and hardware health monitoring. This means you can reinstall the OS or recover from a failed boot without raising a support ticket or waiting for an engineer visit.
Yes. Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V are all supported on our Intel Xeon dedicated servers. iDRAC virtual media allows you to mount a custom ISO for any hypervisor installation. Dual-socket Xeon E5 systems are well suited to Proxmox virtualisation hosts - 20 to 36 cores and DDR4 ECC RAM provide a solid foundation for running multiple VM instances.
