You're Not Alone
When you send business email from a shared hosting server, you share the outgoing mail server's IP address with every other account on that server. If any of those accounts - or any previous occupant of that IP - has been used for spam, the IP may appear on email blacklists like Spamhaus, SORBS, or Barracuda. Once your sending IP is blacklisted, emails you send are silently rejected or quarantined by recipient servers. You'll pass every spam filter test on your own end and still have abysmal deliverability - because the problem isn't your content, it's your IP's reputation.

Shared hosting providers pack thousands of accounts onto servers. Spam accounts, hacked WordPress sites, and malicious scripts are inevitable on large shared platforms. When these accounts send spam via the shared mail server, the IP gets blacklisted. Responsible providers delist quickly, but the cycle repeats. Some budget hosts don't monitor their IP reputation at all. We rate-limit and quarantine accounts showing spam characteristics before they damage shared IP reputation. DKIM signing is enabled by default for all accounts.
